We would like to ask you to follow the steps below in order to resolve the issue:
1. Open AVG User Interface -> Tools -> Advanced settings -> Web Shield
2. Expand Web Shield and select "Web Protection".
3. In the Exclude host/IP/domain list, please add the following:
feed.battleforces.com
4. Click OK to save settings.
5. Try entering the game again.
Or you can just disable Web Shield component of AVG all together. :-)
> Game Rule Questions
Q: I am confused about factories. Can you explain them one more time?
A: Certainly.
Factories can produce as many forces as the number income value they occupy. For example, a factory on a land zone that has an
income of 3, can produce up to three forces, such as three tanks, so long as you have the cash to purchase them.
Factories on capital locations can produce an unlimited number of forces. You must own the land zone with the factory at the
beginning of the turn to be able to produce there.
Purchase your forces from the purchases drawer on the left hand side. Then drag them out to the factory land zones to pick where
to place them. Water forces need to be placed in a water zone adjacent to the land zone of a factory.
Q: If you invade a territory that has a factory on it, and the conflict is not resolved at the end of the turn,
can the defender place newly built forces there?
A: Yes, so long as the defender still owns the territory, they will be able to build there. Even with enemy forces present.
> Team Game Questions
Q: In a team game, can I land my aircraft on an aircraft carrier of one of my allies?
A: No, but you may land on any land zones owned by a team member.
Q: In a team game, if one of my team members loses their capital, but later I invade it and eliminate all the occupiers.
What will happen? Who will be assigned the owner of the land zone?
A: If your team member is still in the game, the capital will be given back to them. It is important to note that
this only applies to capitals and only applies if your team member has not been completely eliminated from the game.
Q: In a team game, if an ally and myself destroy all of an opponent's defenders in a land zone, who gets to be the new owner of the land zone?
A: If all attackers are on the same team, the attacker with the most land forces will become the new owner.
If there are attackers from different teams, the land zone will be set to neutral until there is a single team occupier.
Q: In a team game, if one of my teammates is absent and not submitting turns, what happens?
A: If one of your teammates fails to submit two turns in a row, they will be automatically
eliminated from the game and all their nations and forces will be distributed to the weakest
teammate on your team.
> Membership Questions
Q: What will happen when my premium membership expires that you give free for one month?
I am involved in the MAX amount of games at the moment that the upgrade offers and worry that
I may lose access to those currently running. What will happen?
A: Membership determines the number of games you are allowed to register for.
If your membership expires while you are in more games than Basic membership allows,
you will still be able to complete all the games you are currently in.
Membership will only restrict the number and type of new games you may join, once you are in, you are in for the whole battle.
More good news, currently, renewal of the one month trial period is also free, so no problem there either.
> General Questions
Q: What happens if I miss a turn?
A: If you do not submit a turn before the given time limit, the server will automatically purchase forces for you
and place them all at your capital. Your forces will defend as usual, but no movements will be made automatically for you.
If you miss more than two consecutive turns, the game will no longer wait for you to submit a turn.
Once all the other players have submitted their turns, the game will advance to the next turn, regardless of any time
remaining on the clock.
Furthermore, after missing more than two consecutive turns, your collected income will be automatically reduced by 10%.
So on your third missed turn, you will only collect 90% of your income. This penalty increases by 10% per missed turn until
you no longer collect an income.
If at a later point you do successfully submit a turn, the game will once again wait for you for the full time limit
and you will receive full income from your land zones in future turns.
If no human players successfully submit a turn for two consecutive turns,
the game will be automatically terminated due to loss of interest.
Q: How are points for the leaderboard determined?
A: FORCES uses a modified
ELO ranking system.
Each player starts with 10000 points.
Points are awarded or lost after each completed multiplayer game. Points are not earned for solo games.
If you defeat a player with a higher ranking than you, you will earn more points than if you defeat a player with a lower ranking.
Similarly, if you lose to a lower ranked player, you will lose more points than if you lost to a higher ranked player.
