I've previously proposed "bling" for tournament winners in the form of little badges that would show up next to their names/profiles:

Seems a nice way to increase interest in the game and tournaments in particular, and gives an alternate source of "glory" (vs. the leaderboard) for those who aren't enamored by ELO. It has also since occurred to me that tournament organizers deserve badges themselves for taking the time and effort to run tourneys.

Anyway, I'm still hopeful we might see something along those lines one day, but in the meantime I thought I'd compile the tournament results to date and recognize once again the fine work of our tourney organizers and battle-hardened victors. Full disclosure that I've done fairly well in a few tournaments of late, so it's admittedly a little self-serving, but what're you going to do? :-)
