Two turns actually but still lost 4 in one with maybe one tank on thier side.
Just happened all in one turn. 1 infantry 7 tanks and 2 SAMs lost against a smaller force.
I've just had two wierd results myself.
2 defending infantry stood up to 8 tanks and 4 infantry. Both sides lost 1 infantry. I may well lose the game on those dice alone.
But it works the other way as well. 3 tanks and 1 infantry were attacked by a horde of, umm, 1 infantry. He survived. He killed my infantry. Arrgh!
It is screwed up. It was an assualt on the enemy's capital which failed and might cost me the game.

I lost 2 bombers against 2 defending infantry and they had no casualties.. .
in another game I lost 2 fighters with 4 troop support to 4 tanks with 2 troops support...
and a dozen troops vs nine tanks with no troop support.
It's best to be lucky because shit happens.
I just had someone attack my capital with 10T 8I and get 12 hits, which is double the expectation for that attack force. It happens!
i actually like those stats. war is unpredicable and shiet happens. sometimes smaller forces can defeat larger armmies.
You just have to scrape the shiet off your shoes
and keep going.
