A&A Tournament- Finals
I have sent out the invites for games 1 and 2 (of 3) and will post the assignments in this thread. I will start game 3 in a couple of days, you know, for suspense.
I for one am hoping to get assigned to Russia all 3 times so I can unveil my new Russia strategy- no one will believe it. You'll be floored.

I'm interested to know Tigerpiper awesome strategy (afterward of course). I'm right now playing a game as Germany, and jay7a2 something is playing Russia very offensively and well.
I was like u Tashen (and it's quite successfull), but it looks like there are other ways.

Ok i dont know how this is going to get sorted out but im going to have to resign from all my current games, including the finals games. I unfortunately dont have enough time to get around to submitting turns. I hate that this will likely cause a problem and im sorry about that. I have loved participating in this tournament but I have practically been banned from computer use. I guess i shouldnt have signed up for the tournament if it was going to come to this, but i didnt know.

If you feel comfortable doing so, you might consider giving your log-in to another player to complete your games for you. Unfortunately, with the site log-in linked to email/facebook/etc... you may not be especially comfortable giving out that information, even temporarily. I let InGeneral have my password for a few days when I was going to be out of town with limited internet a while back. It's up to you how you want to deal with your current games.
As for the remaining games, I suggest that the other 4 players in the finals pick one of the following: myself, Bromley, or humphrse to join in. The fill-in player will not be eligable to win the tournament (as with Bromely in the other games he played). I guess once we find out how Markus will handle his current games you can decide whether either or both of the finals games underway will have to be restarted.

I think I was on the winning side of both games 1 and 2, but they are both too close to call. I just sent out the invite for 3, which I will cancel.
Sooooo what are we doing? Having Bromley Step in? What about the other two people who lost in the Playoff game?
I would prefer not to give out my information to anyone. plus i dont know anyone who does battle forces either. So basically i can not participate furhter in any of my games. Sorry to let you guys down

Hey guys. We never got around to finishing this up, but it works out well because now we can make the finals a 5 match sequence where each person plays each country one time! Based on the current standings, we have the following seeds for the finals:
I think what we can do is use those seeds to set up a psuedo round robin for the finals. The ordering of players would be: 1, 5, 2, 3, 4, and the countries are ordere: Germany, Japan, Russia, UK, USA. The countries rotate with respect to the players.
In game 1, we have ranks 1 and 5 as the axis. Game 2 has 5 and 2. Game 3 has 2 and 3. Game 4 has 3 and 4. Game 5 has 4 and 1 playing the Axis. We can still run these two at a time. I'll set up the first two games tomorrow and send out invites with instructions on which country you're assigned.
I guess I can't claim to have won this tournament anymore.

right. I think Doc must be busy as this one and Indian have stalled. I will pm him and see if he wants me to set up the remaining AA games.
I went ahead and created the last 3 A&A tournament games. Should have the IO tourny put together this weekend.
