Trucebreaking summary thread
After getting backstabbed, I thought I'd scan the forum for trucebreakers and list them. I'll not list anyone where it was retracted, or where the sole accuser is a serial trucebreaker themselves.
Not a witchhunt, so pipe up if you think I've been unfair. I decided to remove any confirmed counting errors, unless it repeatedly occurs.
I'm going to start removing people who haven't broken a truce in the past year - the list is too long and rambling as it stands to be much use, as there are loads of people with just one strike. I'm also going to move people who haven't broken in the past 6 months to a probation list to further thin the field.

Maybe. And yet it'll enable me to remember that you believe:

That's fine. It doesn't make you a horrible person etc, but it does mean that you're someone I'd be very careful about trucing with.

That doesn't mean i'm a Truce breaker. That just means that i will not participate in this Witch hunt and i'm just upset to be qualified as a "Truce Breaker" just because a moron has decided to spread his biterness in the forum after i beat him.

I have played this game a few times and have only been accussed of truce breaking once ( 0.34% of my games). I think that is pretty good evidence of my reputation here.
I have actually only posted about one truce breaker as well out of 297 games completed...so not really posting out of bitterness because i lost.
I think your percentage of truce breaking is at 9%.
Glad I made the list. I've only done it once, but I have screwed up a couple times since and attacked someone I had forgotten I had a truce with. I think I made in-game reparations afterward, so I hope nobody has hard feelings toward me.

I am the accuser and for what it's worth, while I feel 100% that the truce was broken, I also believe that there was a semantics/philosophical difference here (I have explained what happened a couple times), and that fatshoe genuinely believed at the time he was not violating our truce. I would trust him again in future truces without hesitation.

On the other end of the spectrum... I have had several truces with Dogboy and he has honored them all the way through, regardless of the power shifts in the game.
I should probably remove people anyone after a certain time period then. 6 months wouldn't have much of an effect, so 3 months might be better?
I don't think you need to remove anyone. You have a date set out there, people can decide if they think that person can now be trusted.

This thread has been kind of quiet for awhile. I'm in a 10 Player World Map game (only Year 2004) and the game chat silence has been broken as sparks are beginning to fly. Two more names for your list Bromley... Marz and sigmar35 .

Dogboy has been very trustworthy in our games prior to this, regardless of situations and I'm really not sure what his logic for breaking this truce is.

WE engaged naval forces in an unoccupied sea zone and you prevailed.
YOU gave 3 turns Notice to end our truce, then invaded my territory 2 turns early. It's not rocket science, just a cheap tactic and very simple, YOU BROKE OUR TRUCE.

ha...that would be a good report. i am not going to "press charges" against soldjah. Apparently, he went on vacation and had someone play his account who did attack me, but apologized for his mistake and retreated. And while I am out about 120 points worth of troops, I will let bygones be bygones.

hey granahang noone cares what u say. you and all you people are a bunch of fucking crybabies who probably got hit after a treaty that was three turns ended 5 turns later and blamed a "break" in treaty for ur stupidity. this game wasnt designed for indefinate treaties. and now-a-days bc of all this cryababy forum bashing bullshit nonsense i only do boarder treaties....which seem to work much better. but how dare the lot of you people who have been playing for 3 minutes to make a list with some of the BEST players on this game? contraband, drkillz, dogboy, and ctbaumer have been on here since i have, so i know they have been playing for at least a year and i have played all of them multiple times and know they are honorable players. people that bitch on forums are not. BTW i have 4 usernames so good luck trying to bash one of them. oh, one more thing. i know fatshoe has been here awhile and normally ive gotten along with u, but after reading your posts i hope u get hit by a fucking truck u fucking bser.

Thanks Steve. I've not been doing any modding recently, but that just made it too easy. All of your a/cs other than steveschur2011 will be banned, and you're only keeping that one because it's already negative.
